Floyd Mayweather is Weak to Fire-Type Pokémon | The Weekly Geek 48

Whatup, you nerd. Here's a short list of stuff I'm exploring or enjoying this week:
What I'm listening to: "How Buffets Work." Stuff You Should Know is one of my all-time favorite podcasts. Hosts Josh and Chuck's explain every topic in the universe with banter that makes me lol almost every episode. In fact, their podcast was partly responsible for my discovery that I like learning while an undergraduate and gave me the confidence that I was maybe smart enough to pursue a doctorate (ended up having to forge my diploma, but it's a very convincing fake). You might not think it, but SYSK episodes like the one on buffets are some of the most interesting. Now every time I pass a Golden Corral, I can explain to everyone in the car how that type of business got started, which makes me just a little bit better than you.
Organizational app I'm using: 24me. I organize my life through my phone. Believe it or not, it's hard to find a robust calendar that also lets you create feature-rich to-do lists. I used aNote for years, which got the job done, but 24me seems to integrate more seamlessly with other apps and offers a extra features I like. I've found one or two minor bugs and creating new tasks can sometimes prove mildly irritating if you hit the wrong key, but nothing that breaks the app. Overall, the abundance of features is what really sold me. For instance, you can tag a location for an event then hit "Go" when you're ready, and 24me will route you through your navigation app. I use the free version, which does everything I need, but a premium version is available with a few extra bonus features.
Whose drip I'm respecting: Logan Paul's Pokémon card necklace he wore before his exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather. Dude marched in with a Grade 10 first edition Charizard he bought for $150,000. Sources say he was confident Mayweather would challenge him with a grass-type deck and fully expected to blow the veteran boxer away with Charizard's Fire Spin. Instead, Mayweather promptly gave him a wedgie and dunked his head in the toilet.
That's it for this week! If you like this newsletter, be sure to subscribe and share, you nerd.
