The Weekly Geek
Greetings, humans! Here's a short list of stuff I'm geeking out about this week.
Show I'm watching: Living With Yourself. Paul Rudd should prob be the only thing you need to know to give this a watch. But without giving away too much of the premise, basically, a guy goes to an exclusive spa, where he's promised he will leave an entirely new, better version of himself. The way this is accomplished leads to a lot of great questions about the nature of mental health and bettering yourself. I'm only two episodes in, but I'm enjoying it so far.
What I'm doing in the gym: The Crossfit Open. Every year, Crossfit hosts a global competition, where every Friday for 5 weeks, Crossfitters around the world participate in the same workout to earn a place on the leaderboard. And it's, uh, kinda brutal.
Interview I just listened to: Edward Snowden. Joe Rogan interviewed him on his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience, and, well...governments are pretty terrifying him. Check it out if you want to constantly fear your cell phone.
That's it for this week! Stay geeky, humans.
